For those without experience, Coral Hotel offers introductory diving course. The first training is in our swimming-pool. If all goes well, the instructor may then escort you to a coral reef on the island of Kho Thalu, in order for you to experience a real dive.

CERTIFIED DIVERS

For those who are already certified, you have the option, by presenting your diving certificate, to go directly to the island for “fun diving”. The instructor will take you from the Coral Hotel straight to the nicest diving areas.

· Kho Thalu, Kho Sing and Kho Sang: 6 to 10 meters deep.

· Ran Phet and Ran Kai: 6 to 30 meters deep.

The best period is from March to till end of September. Outside this period, these excursions are sometimes possible when the weather is clement.

The diving instructor will pick you up and take you away for visiting the most beautiful spots around Bang Saphan. Discover different diving areas from 6 meters to 30 meters in depth. Our diving sites are extremely rich in coral and count amongst some of the richest in South East Asia. Observe not only the numerous sponges and amazing variety of fish (barracudas, parrot fish, rays …) but also turtles and, if you’re lucky, a family of dolphins.

Visibility is generally between 5 and 25 meters depending on the chosen area and the time of the year. The sites are varied in depth and you will find swim through, drop offs, boulders, corals and chimneys. The best time for diving is between March and the end of September. Diving the rest of the year is dependent on weather conditions.

Dives are executed by a certified PADI professional. We will provide you with the full equipment for 4 divers on our speed boat.
