KAO SOK AND THE SURIN ISLANDS
TOUR J (2 days - 1 night)
DAY 1
Departure from CORAL HOTEL at 7.30 after breakfast.
Around 12 o'clock,we shall arrive at Kao Sok national park. It is an immense area of thick rainforest,with cascades,chalk cliffs,numerous torrents and a large lake scattered with isles.Kao Sok houses a lot of animal species such as elephants,leopards,tigers or Malaysian bears.As for us we shall most likely be happy to make do with riding on the back of our elephant but we shall only discover a small portion of this immense stretch during our two hour ride that morning, after our lunch that we'll have in the national park restaurant.
After this promenade we will drive back to Greenview Resort in Kuiraburi.
The "Kuraburi Greenview Resort" is a hotel built in Thai mountain style with all facilities(air-conditioning,hot water,minibar,TV...)
Dinner and night at the hotel.
DAY 2
Buffet breakfast then we shall join the crew of the boat which will sail towards the Surin Isles-about an hour's sailing that you will surely enjoy as you may see colonies of dolphins which abound in these protected waters.
Over 30 miles further,off the Thai coast, the Surin Islands were listed National Park in 1981.Around these islands the water is exceptionally clear and snorkeling provides you with an incredible view.
You will be able to observe plenty of splendid coral, fish by the hundred, sea turtles.Equipment is provided for snorkeling and you will be guided by attentive and competent instructors.
You will dive on two sites in the morning and after lunch another go will be possible.
At the end of the day, your speed boat will take you back to Kuiraburi harbor you will return to Coral Hotel for dinner.
